Dash-key has a nasty habit of not responding (despite there being plenty of dash energy), forcing constant restarts of timing sensitive jump-sequences.

Although I would have loved to see what exactly you mean by that, but if I were to guess is that you either: pressed attack and jump at the same time/ pressed attack mid animation and you were animation locked and so the game didn't read the input for the next attack. Either way I'll try and see into those :) Thanks!

The game is really fun. It utilizes a simple mechanic to make a great experience.
I love the art and the animations! I can see you put a lot of work into those!
The game is super challenging but once you get the hang of the mechanics, it's really rewarding and satisfying :)
All in all a really good job! I can't wait to see more of it!
